Dear Friends and Family:

It’s almost that time of year again…time for me to bike 300 miles in five days across Israel for a worthy cause.

On Oct. 10-14, I will be riding for Beit Halochem, which operates six facilities in Israel where disabled Israel Defense Forces’ veterans and victims of terror can participate in sports, social and creative activities, all suited to their individual disabilities. http://advi.ca/index.htm. The ride is called Courage in Motion, so named because we will be riding alongside the vets.

The ride begins at the Mediterranean Sea in Nachsholim, wends its way through the Golan Heights and the Galilee, and ends up at the Beit Halochem Center in Tel Aviv. It promises to be the experience of a lifetime. I hope you will share that experience with me by following our progress on the route map, and also by helping me to support this worthwhile organization.

I am suggesting a contribution of $1 for each mile, or $300 tax-deductible dollars. All donations large and small are most welcome and appreciated.

You may contribute online via this link: https://www.charitybox.com/fidv/Default.asp

You must put my name and the Courage in Motion event in the “special instructions” box to indicate your donation is for this event on my behalf. You may also contribute by check payable to “Beit Halochem Canada.” Please write “Noah Alper – Courage in Motion 2010” on the memo line.

Please mail the check directly to:
