I have this great new idea.

After living in Orange County for over two years, I have figured out a way to combine my love for diverse music with my desire to contribute to my community with my skills as event planner and producer.

My issue is, I can’t decide if this is one of those great ideas that I will still be happy I ran with after the events are over, or if it is one of those “great learning experiences” that was more painful than anticipated to implement.

One day I allow myself to take a sky-is-the-limit approach where I brainstorm and journal excitedly for hours on the possibilities.

The next day I will have a gray day where I make lists of all the reasons I’m better off waiting for the next inspiration to wake me in the middle of the night.

Neither feels better at this point. Part of me would like to establish this new series. Another part of me knows that at the rate I have been generating new ideas, something else will appear soon enough. Having a good background in debate can be really annoying. So

I’m back to wondering, is this really a great idea?
