The Bunny Who Never Is on the Money — Swish Rabbit Ears

On the day after Easter, it should be appropriate to discuss an undisciplined bunny.

Even if several Americans surpass me in age, no one alive this afternoon in this country ever has seen as rabbit-eared of a President, no matter how far back you research.

Plenty have had pitchfork temperaments to match the midget fuse of Swish Obama.

But not even the notoriously hypersensitive Richard Nixon was on the same planet with Mr. Obama’s 100 percent resistance to even delicately framed criticism.

Before his rabbit ears soften and fold until the next critique, journalists and White House aides will immediately dash to the fore after a criticism to proclaim, “For shame, for converting disapproval of an Obama action into a racist gesture.”

I wonder how the liberals’ daily blanket charges of “irrational conservative anger” will play in November. I have no idea.

We do, though, know this much:

For at least two weeks, internet giant Andrew Breitbart has held out a standing offer of $100,000 to anyone who can produce evidence that Georgia Democratic Congressman John Lewis, remembered from civil rights marches 40 years ago, was the victim of racial taunts/spitting, as he claimed on the weekend that healthcare reform passed last month.

Anybody See Anything? Nah

For all the video scam artists out there in Democrat partyland, you would have thought one honest broker would have surfaced, and then in a grand gesture, donated the entire amount to all of those poor people Dems bray they are fighting for.

Not one person has tried.

Tells you a little Alice in Wonderland tale-telling undoubtedly sparked the round of phony “racist” charges.

Nearly every Saturday, an extremely mad young black man, Chuckie Blow of The New York Times, writes a race-tinted screed, the same essay each time, how Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh and extreme racist conservatives have exceeded the bounds of decency by criticizing his guy, the first black President. Next to him on the op-ed page is an angry middle-aged black man, Bob Herbert, who is equally tastelessly distressed by Glenn, Rush and racist Tea Party members. He bristles with such fury at Republicans that he almost does not want to arise from his bed.

Keep Hounding, Rabbit Ears

And then there is the zookeeper himself, President Rabbit Ears. Research suggests that Swish never endured even one slim criticism in his life until he ran for President, explaining why he takes umbrage at every comment that fails to cement his claim as The One.

Swish, you know, has lived a life of considerable privilege. The bubble around him must be constructed of steel.

For one day, no, just for one hour, Swish should walk in the shoes of Sarah Palin. She finally earned a shockingly laudatory story this morning in the ultra-liberal New York Times. Bet a week of dinners that Swish read the piece or had it repeated to him.

Once I had two brothers-in-law who would poke holes in iron walls with their furious fists if they were offended. Perhaps they could hire out to Swish. Then all three chums could go line dancing together.

Swish probably increases the worth of the stock in Rush and Glenn — whom the country loves much more than Rabbit Ears — every time he blisters them for daring to criticize his imperial self because as a black President he should not have to endure negative talk.

Perhaps you saw the story last week, not widely distributed, that Fox News Channel, the only vaguely fair network, boasts of the 13 most popular programs on cable television.

Surely Swish’s periodic predictably puerile heat is aiding their rankings.
