Jeff Cooper today announced the additional endorsements of many current and former Culver City School Board members for his City Council campaign.

They include:

Steve Gourley (Board President), Scott Zeidman (Board Vice President), Karlo Silbiger and Patricia Siever.

Also supporting Mr. Cooper’s election are former School Board members Bob Knopf, Madeline Ehrlich and Jessica Beagles-Roos.

“Jeff cares deeply about our schools, and he is very supportive of greater communication between the School Board and the City Council,” said Mr. Gourley, who served on the City Council during the 1990s. “I know he will do the right thing when it comes to our children and our educational system during these difficult times.”

As for Mr. Cooper:

“My daughters have been educated in Culver City schools, and I’ve always been a very involved parent,” he said.

“As a City Council member, I plan to work closely with the School Board and the community to do whatever is within my purview to support the students, parents and the schools.”
