Damien Williams, USC’s junior wide receiver and punt returner will not play his senior season for several reasons.
He graduated this month, and he turned in an outstanding performance in the Emerald Bowl.
He caught 12 passes for 189 yards and was named the Most Valuable Player in the game. Not only is Williams an outstanding football player who will be in the NFL next season, he was an extraordinary student who is very articulate.
He will be successful on and off the football field…

Notre Dame has hired a new football coach, Brian Kelly, who was successful at the University of Cincinnati but he will find out in a hurry that Notre Dame is not Cincinnati.
The schedule that Notre Dame plays is a lot tougher than Cincinnati’s.
He will find out that talent wins games, not coaches. Notre Dame does not have the great talent they had in the past.

If UCLA quarterback Kevin Prince is not ready to play today (1:30, ESPN, vs. Temple in the Eagle Bank Bowl) or if he needs to be replaced during the game in Washington D.C., coach Rick Neuheisel needs to play senior Kevin Craft.
