I have received an email regarding my article http://www.thefrontpageonline.com/new/articles1-6911/ForMeHisHandshakeWasaTipoff

I have received a handful of emails in response to the many articles published (more than 42) concerning me.

Only one challenged me to a duel. One gave me information, and one asked for more information.

I stopped publishing emails sent to me after I messed up once with a person I have always respected, but have grown to truly appreciate as one of the rare people of California. School Board member Mr. Scott Zeidman.

But I cannot resist publishing this one.

Dear Gary,

I saw your article on thefrontpageonline.com today. I am wondering if you want to point out the unfairness of targeting Dee Seehusen, who I do not know.

One of the machine’s candidates for City Council spoke in favor of removing Ms. Seehusen, and then stated for the record (on channel 35) that anyone voting for Prop. 8 was a homophobe.

It troubles me that holding people to a higher standard when they are appointed to city committees seems to depend on who you support.

If you truly are not afraid of the political machines in this city, sock it to them.

Dear (no name):

I have had a chance to reflect upon your latest communication.

I do not know Ms.Seehusen personally, either.

But I do know that Ms. Seehusen, could be anyone's mother, grandmother, sister or wife.

If you follow my articles, I am not on a crusade for any particular causes other than being an advocate for “kids.”

Occasionally, a situation may come up when I may make a statement on civility or the lack of it in a situation. Note: It was related to a school board candidate.

I noticed that you have expressed your opinions in this newspaper.

I expressed my thoughts and I was the first in line to support Ms. Seehausen's reinstatement.

So far, I have not heard of anyone with the courage to step forward.

Can the citizens of Culver City not figure out unfairness?

I cannot instill truthfulness, courage or intelligence in the citizens of Culver City.

Sorry, that is a problem they have to solve themselves. Maybe they should re-run the “Wizard of Oz” on channel 35.

P.S.: I notice that no one is concerned about the plight of Culver City High School senior Maya Cohn, either.

Way to go, Culver City citizens.
