Consciously, we write what we want to write. But the handwriting style itself comes from our subconscious.

Handwriting analysis is a useful tool in self-improvement.

When you understand what part of your writing refers to which character trait, you will be able to affect a change by consciously changing how you write. That will assist you in making the subconscious changes you are looking for.

Trained handwriting analysts use handwriting analysis in the interests of assisting a client toward self-improvement and to help the client gain a better understanding of himself/herself. Employers may use handwriting analysis for a clue to the personality of a potential hire. They may feel this helps to find personnel with suitable character traits.

Once I was asked by a network news organization to analyze handwriting by O.J. Simpson, Nicole Brown and the L.A. County Coroner to assist the news department in gaining insight into their personalities.

A hypnotherapist may use handwriting analysis for a client’s personality evaluation and therapy to determine a client’s suggestibility and personality. This also may give insight into helping a client change specific character traits.

Handwriting analysis is a method of identifying, evaluating and understanding a person's personality through the patterns revealed by his or her handwriting. Whether you mind your “p”s and “q”s and dot your “i” and cross your “t”s can say a lot about how you think and behave.

The scientific validity behind handwriting analysis has been debatable. As a hypnotherapist, I have found this to be an invaluable tool, often showing me the behavior of a client and his/her partner.

Checking Out Contrasts

This is key in understanding what may be concerning a client and how the person interacts with others people and partner in particular. Then there is the law of opposites, which affects all things. Once a client’s behaviors have been pinpointed, it is easy to see the partner’s behaviors and to pinpoint the issues in their relationship.

Is the client outward and talkative, shy and withdrawn, honest, dishonest, healthy or unhealthy, generous or self-centered, a logical thinker or impulsive?

These can be seen in handwriting. Analyzed correctly, they will lead to a successful, and prosperous life.

Small examples of handwriting analysis:

Those who write with their handwriting leaning to the left are generally shyer and more withdrawn.

Those with handwriting that leans to the right are generally more outgoing.

Those with their handwriting straight up and down are generally level headed.

Once a trained analyst has examined your handwriting and you know which characters to change to create the desired result, it is important to apply these changes when writing positive affirmations.

Positive affirmations are written about 10 to 15 minutes before bedtime when the subconscious is most open. The subconscious will allow them to enter and to begin to work as the conscious mind is at rest. (The subconscious never sleeps)

Aids for Your Benefit

Some useful positive affirmations: I am giving and receiving happiness, success and prosperity.

I am receiving income daily from current, new and exciting sources.

I am conscientious, successful and a hard worker.

I am a kind, caring and loving spouse, or parent or brother or sister. Ensure that your affirmations are relevant to your issues and are written in the present tense.

It is important that words such as “have” must be replaced by “want.” (Have is a chore word, want is a desire word). Eliminate the word “will” and replace it with “I am.” (Will is a word that delays the proposed affirmation to the future while “I am” is present tense and does not allow you to put off to the future.)

Think of affirmations. Write them 21 nights in a row. See if any take hold. Are the nightly affirmations making you feel better? Are you closer to your goals?
