Dems Deserve Most, but Not All, of the Blame for Budget Crisis

The goal of our state Republican leaders is primarily a fiscal one.

I like to think of their jobs as doing everything in their power to strengthen the family unit by preserving as much of their combined earnings as possible.

It is unfortunate that the Democrats don't see it this way.

Instead, their interest is to strengthen the state treasury. They look at the family unit as a means to fund their depleted treasury, failing to remember that taxation “is the harnessing of free people. It is forced labor. And if it goes beyond reasonable bounds, it is the yoke of oppression.”

Dems vs. Dems

Our state Legislature is in a state of chaos with the Democrat majority in a panic, fighting among themselves, and a leader who is the most incompetent in California history.

While the Republican minority is locked out and unable to do anything but sit on the sidelines and wait for the chaos to subside, the squirming Democrats will eventually come around. They will look to the voices of reason and fiscal conservatism that have, throughout Calfornia history, offered the solutions to our ailing budgets.

It has always been our Republican state legislators who develop the solutions to get the state workers back to work, a relief to those individuals and businesses that actually earn a living in this state.
California, this is your state legislature, the one that you elected into office.

Getting What You Deserve

This is the state legislature you deserve and represents the gullible and selfish nature of your Leftist values and principals.

“Profit with Honor” is a value foreign to most left wing socialists, but not, typically, free market capitalists.

However, left wing socialists are not entirely to blame.

Some of our Republican leadership, especially here in Los Angeles, are so concerned with holding on to their little sliver of political real estate that they lose sense of what leadership means,

When, after a reasonable amount of time, it becomes obvious that your effectiveness has not generated positive results, the most honorable thing you can do is step aside and let someone else try.

Each one of the Democrat legislators has but one goal — to justify his/her/its existence in a manner that gets the person on TV or the radio.

They compete with each other to see who can come up with a bill that gets more attention; teamwork is another value foreign to most Democrats.

They believe greatness (a left wingers definition of self esteem) comes from popularity (Barack, sound familiar?), not for their accomplishments that actually add value to the family income.
The current crop of city, county and state ballot measures represent out of control Democrats all over the state.

Each one they propose takes money away from our families and their businesses. No wonder there is a net population and business outflow from the state of California (excluding the illegal immigrants)
“Capturing revenue” is their mantra, and the person who comes up with the trickiest, most deceitful way of accomplishing this is rewarded with the biggest office at the state capital.
