The DBA’s focus has shifted from a marketing orientation to one focused on cleaning and maintenance activities.

DBA Chair Andy Weissman talked about the vast changes that have been wrought in Downtown just in this century.

Look at the Changes

“The successful renaissance of Downtown has increased the need for outdoor maintenance,” he said.

“Look at all of the increased activity — so many more restaurants and retail stores. They are filling space that once was vacant or underused. And there is the increase in pedestrian traffic”

The DBA Clean Team will cover the entire Downtown Business Improvement District.

Why It Was Organized

The core purpose of the Downtown Business Assn. e is to lead the continual development of Downtown as a unique and thriving destination.

The DBA consists of a 10-person volunteer Board of Directors comprised of Downtown leaders, stakeholders, property and business owners.
