I support the Culver City Education Foundation and it’s All For 1 campaign, and I hope you will, too.
The Education Foundation has been a valuable mainstay of our school community for more years than I can count. Enhancing the education of our students always has been their top priority.
The Education Foundation was crucial in putting together the funding for our state-of-the-art El Rincon Science Lab.
That is not all.
In addition, El Rincon has been the beneficiary of numerous grants throughout the years from the Foundation that have funded an extraordinary variety of supplemental education materials and technology equipment for our students.
As the school secretary, I see, first-hand, all of the equipment funded by the Foundation that comes into our school each year—Bright Link Boards, document cameras, LCD projectors and more. This year, the Education Foundation is funding recorders for our third graders, additional technology, field trips and the licensing fees for our SuccessMaker software.
I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to see the teachers’ excitement when their grants are approved, and their eagerness to use the technology in their classrooms.
It’s exciting to see our students reaping the benefits of the Foundation’s generosity and loving learning.
Culver City Education Foundation: You are our heroes.
