[Editor’s Note: Mr.Kuechle directed this letter to fellow members of the board of the Culver Crest Neighborhood Assn.]
Good Morning,
In case you missed it, I am attaching a copy of an article from the front page of the Business section of today's Los Angeles Times.
The article is about concessions being made by oil companies when they drill near residential areas.
Specifically, it discusses recent mitigation agreements that have been entered into in Carson and Whittier.
Toward the middle of the article (in four paragraphs that will hopefully appear highlighted on what I am sending), the point is made that the residents in these far flung parts of the state are benefiting because oil companies realize they must “meet the standards that came out of Baldwin Hills,” and most specifically the lawsuit which (lawyer) Ken Kutcher (of Culver Crest) brought on our behalf.
So, it turns out that the year and a half Ken devoted to this matter benefited not only Culver Crest and the surrounding area, but all of California.
