Mr. Weikel: You and Bob Pool are the only reporters left at the L.A. Times who respond to these email blasts from hollywoodhighlands.org.
It is worse at the L.A. Weekly where none of the limp libertarians calling themselves reporters or editors respond to these cyber missives.

On the same track, I was contacted today by a Metrolink whistleblower with this MTA racist tidbit that might attract your interest.
LASD wanted top crack down on Metrolink ticket scofflaws, namely the joggers who park their autos at the Metrolink San Fernando Valley station parking lots, do their upper middle class running around, then return to their cars and leave without paying a train fare.
However,. Metro CEO Art Leahy intervened. He told the Sheriff’s Dept. to ignore this unlawful conduct and concentrate instead on ticketing at high crime (read:minority) rail stations.
Another example of MTA’s politically correct racial discrimination.
The Chatsworth Station attracts the most such offenders. Scores of scofflaw cars can be found parked there at all hours of the day, enjoying immunity from MTA rules and regulations afforded exclusively to non-minority car owners.
Blacks refer to behavior like this as exercising white-skin privileges.
