Okay. I decided not to try to think of a topic to write about this week.
“Whatever,” I thought, whatever comes to me at random.
Random came to me, and that is this week’s passion.
I always have enjoyed playing with random number generators, viewing random facts. It wasn’t until 20 minutes ago that I realized how many interesting random generators there are for us to enjoy.
• My random number (between 1-1000) is 854.
• My random (Hawaiian) name is Kaleo Kalani.
• My random (from all U.S. Censuses) name is Allyson Trenholm.
• My random common noun is stone.
• My random average noun is fissure.
• My random somewhat uncommon noun is rapier.
• My random uncommon noun is blowfly.
• My random very uncommon noun is valvulitis.
• My random obscure noun is Kishar. (“In the Akkadian epic Enuma Elish,
• Kishar is the daughter of Lahmu and Lahamu . . . .“ – Wikipedia)
• My random sentence is “An unpopular paranoia rewrites the motorway.”
• My random quote (category: society) is “Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” – Lord Acton
• My random joke is “What kind of a tree is nauseated?” Answer: A sick-amore
• nMy random website is a wrestling website called “WWE.”
• What about a random generator for topics for my next essay?
• I just Googled that and – lo and behold – “The Random Blog Topic Generator” popped up. My random (Category: religion) topic is “Evidence of a Creator.” Weird – I was just discussing that topic with my daughter on the phone this afternoon!
I believe in random!
