Historical Society Will Install New Officers Tomorrow

The Culver City Historical Societywill hold its winter general membership meeting and dinner on Wednesday at 6:30 in the Dining Room at the The Culver Studios, Downtown, in downtown 9336 West Washington Blvd.

The program will include the installation of President-elect Louise Coffey-Webb and her new board as well as a thank- you presentation to outgoing President Stu Freeman.

Ms. Coffey-Webb has served as chair of the Costumes Committee, and she has cataloged the MGM costume collection for the Hstorical Society. Currently the U.S. representative for British designer, Zandra Rhodes, Ms. Coffee-Webb is also on the board of the Galanos Foundation.

She was raised in England where she worked for the BBC and has also served as a curator and archival advisor to LACMA, and many other institutions.

The installing officer will be special guest Dr. Janet R. Fireman, editor of California History, and immediate past president of the Pacific Coast Branch of the American Historical Assn. The Installation Co-Chairs are Tami Eskridge and Steve Rose.

Seating is limited and reservations are a must for the buffet dinner. Tickets are $40 each.
