A new client contacted me recently because she wanted to quit smoking. After canceling four different appointments, when she did show up, I had a feeling she did not want to quit.
What to Do with a Pain in the Neck, Whether Married or Single
Just recently I was attending a convention in Las Vegas, and on the evening of the last day, a man approached me for directions. I gave him what he needed, and we started talking.
The Route Out of Depression Is Lined with Dietary Advice
I received a phone call recently from a woman in severe distress. Crying, she said that for the past two years she had been treated by a psychiatrist for depression that started when a close male friend died. At the start, the psychiatrist had prescribed Zoloft (an anti-depression medication). Now he decided she should increase her dosage because the depression persisted.
A Corrected Diet Reversed a Plunge to the Bottom
A client was referred to me recently for what the doctor thought was to be pain control. When she came to see me, her complaint was not pain-related but about panic and anxiety.
She had been in her job for over 12 years when a new supervisor (who had
only been with her company for 7 years) started to nitpick my client’s work and everything that she did. The new supervisor, who had been a close friend of my client,
ended up terminating her employment.
To this day my client does not understand what happened.
Doesn’t Sound Arrogant to Me, but You Decide
I recently gave a lecture at a YMCA (now known as The Y). As far as I could tell, it was well received. Everyone had a good time. The Y staff sent out a questionnaire to the participants and for their feedback. Only 8 people responded, all saying they had enjoyed the lecture. They felt they had a better understanding of hypnosis and how to use it to create the positive changes that had eluded them to date. One person sent back a negative comment, calling me extremely arrogant in my presentation.
The Difference Between Positive and Negative Is Slender
My daughter called me very early on a Sunday morning, crying into the phone. She complained of a severe earache and a nose that would not stop bleeding. Could we do anything? She was “freaking out” My wife and I went to her apartment and brought her to our house and from there to see a physician assistant at a local CVS Pharmacy.
Meet the Lady Who Said ‘No’
I recently contacted a Santa Monica public library to see if it would be interested in hosting a workshop on hypnotherapy, what it can do and how it works. I was told to put into writing what I wanted to present, with a detailed breakdown of the subject matter and all else I would use in my presentation.
Now Here Is One Way to Win the Last Laugh
Just recently I delivered a lecture on the amazing benefits of hypnotherapy to a local YMCA. There was a good crowd, and all had a great time. They enjoyed learning about something they knew little about.
One Fewer Skeptic
Walking my dog along Short Avenue in Los Angeles the other day, I saw two men on the street. One was on the ground sorting through fliers, and the other was twp feet off the sidewalk, in the street, watching him sort. I asked them what they were selling.
Your Writing Reveals the Truth About You
I just don’t want to write now.
