Dateline Dayton – Today is Joe Paterno’s memorial service. I didn’t know Joe. Nor do I follow Penn State football. I am not even much of a sports fan. I will watch the Super Bowl to see the commercials. Now you are able to see most of them on your computer without having to watch the game.

Dateline Dayton – There is a saying (I have no idea from where it comes) that goes: If you call a vagabond a tramp. you do him wrong. He never goes a wandering that he doesn’t take his home along.

Dateline Dayton – My wife has been after me for some time to get rid of “stuff.” For the most part she is talking about my treasures, items that I believe some day, probably not in my lifetime, might have value.

Dateline Dayton – Until now I haven’t shared with you any comment on the Penn State-Joe Paterno situation.

Dateline Dayton — A woman was out Christmas shopping with her two children. After many hours of looking at row after row of toys and everything else imaginable, after hours of hearing both her children asking for all they saw on those many shelves, she finally made it to the elevator with her two kids.

It no longer is the Christmas season. Now we have, the holiday season.
