On the Road in Florida, II

Mike HennesseyOP-ED

Dateline Dayton –Continuing our travels: It now is Friday, and we are on our way to see Aunt Alma, who lives in Sun City. Uncle Dick died just after our visit with them last year. I felt it was important to continue the stop on our way to Venice. Besides, I do their tax returns, so it would be an opportunity to get their information at the same time. We had a nice visit and caught up on all her family information. Yes, I did get the tax information.

After getting help to complete that task, I was given my card to vote.

The topics of discussion varied from why young people don’t attend church to concerts, as well as the usual do- you-remember this person or that event.

A Christmas Present with a Happy Melody Included

Mike HennesseyOP-ED

Dateline Dayton – What a weekend it was. Friday evening we went out for dinner, which for some reason took forever, and Pauline didn’t even get what she ordered after a very long wait. At least the manager took care of her meal.
