Dateline Dayton – The best of plans fall apart more often now than when we were raising our five children. Possibility it is due to our age, advancing years. I hope not.

Dateline Dayton – Awhile back, I told you about a house Pauline and I toured that had its original furnishing, toys and other items, which were over 75 years old.

Dateline Dayton – A week ago Wednesday, my cash register- collecting buddy, Howard, and I made our semi-annual trip to St. Charles, IL, for the Cash Register Collectors Club meeting and swap meet.

Dateline Dayton – I left work early last Friday to attend a band presentation at our granddaughter Ashley’s school. She attends Madison High School, just outside of Middletown, is in the marching band and the steel drum band.

Dateline Dayton – Last Friday night, Pauline, our son Chris and I went out for supper. Usually when we go out on Friday nights, it is for fish. No exception this time.

Dateline Dayton – Sometimes the best of plans don’t work. In my essay of last week, which didn’t appear until Tuesday, I told you about my intention to set up at a flea market. That all changed last Wednesday night when I got the flu, which also was the cause of my essay being late.
