Imploring Waxman to Do the Right Thing for Veterans

Fellow Veterans and Friends of Veterans,

As you probably know, the two candidates running to replace U.S. Rep. Henry Waxman in the 33rd Congressional District are both Veterans.

While their politics certainly differ — one's a Republican and the other a Democrat — they should be unified on turning around the Los Angeles VA, the largest VA in the nation, which has become an international disgrace.

The Old Veterans Guard, the leading force behind exposing the biggest land-fraud scandal in American history, is calling on Congressman Waxman, who is not a Veteran, to do the right thing by accepting responsibility:

End the illegal occupation of Veterans’ land, direct the Acting VA Secretary, Sloan D. Gibson, to fully dismiss the VA’s appeal of the federal judgment for nine illegal real estate deals on federal VA property, and declare a state of emergency for Los Angeles so we can honorably Bring Our Homeless Veterans Home.

Veterans Request Waxman to Do the Right Thing

The upcoming campaign promises to be very challenging because of the illegal activity at the VA and Congressman Waxman's failed stewardship that has led Los Angeles to be our nation's capital for homeless Veterans.

Join us as we challenge both candidates, Republican Elan Carr and Democrat Ted Lieu, to do the right thing.

God Bless America and the Veterans Revolution.
