In the ongoing battle to quell airflight noise over Culver City, the City Council has issued a formal thank-you to Sen. Dianne Feinstein for her efforts.
She directed a letter to Federal Aviation Administration Administrator Michael Huerta.
Sen. Feinstein’s request to the FAA underscored the serious concerns Culver City residents and surrounding neighborhoods have raised regarding impacts from flight path changes under the FAA’s NextGen program.
City Hall is reaching out to members of Congress for their aid in addressing noise and air quality impacts and other issues that have occurred following the implementation of NextGen.
City Hall is banking on the continued assistance of Sen. Feinstein and other legislators, including hometown Rep. Karen Bass in its efforts to sustain a favorable quality-of-life.
