Let us agree at the outset that ending President Obama’s ill-considered Dreamers program not only is morally complicated but it wins the Super Bowl of buck-passing, which was dishonest Obama’s main talent.
This, however, is a story about the pettiness of the four bigots on the County Board of Supervisors.
Two of the lesser ladies in the quartet, Hilda (I Love Illegal Aliens) Solis and Janice (I Guess, I Think, I Probably, Well Maybe, I Do, Too) Hahn, should step outside and sun themselves in an attempt to unwind their burgled minds.
They disagree with President Trump’s plan to possibly end the messy Dreamers program Obama halfheartedly plotted.
Fine.
Like good lady lefties, they refuse to accept defeat. They mean to kill those who dare disagree with their sui generis wisdom.
They promoted a successful motion ordering bored County officials to sit down this moment and dash off letters to President Trump and Congress revealing their bloody opposition.
Before suddenly busy “County officials” can put their pencils down, the ladies ordered them to write similar letters to state Atty. Gen. Xavy (I’m Gonna be the Next Governor) and Gov. (I Am Gonna be an Ex-Governor) Brown.
Then the ladies went for a home run with the first of their three balmy motions.
They, uh, ordered a travel ban –a concept the lefty racists called, uh, racist when Mr. Trump did it.
The ladies said that for the next 12 months, they were forbidding county employees on official business to enter 9 states that had threatened legal action if Mr. Trump did not end the Dreamers program.
Denizens of Alabama, Arkansas, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Nebraska, Texas, South Carolina and West Virginia quaked and heaved sighs of harmonious relief, puzzling Ms. Solis and Ms. Hahn.
The single smart woman among the Supes, rookie Kathryn Barger, cast the lone intelligent vote opposing the nuttiness.
Ms. Barger properly supports the Dreamers program. She wants the young people to stay, by legislation, but not via fellow ladies flashing their ugly bigotry.
