Serious Jews of Los Angeles have received a long-awaited pre-Shabbos gift.

The insecure, egomaniacal, reputation-ruining, anti-religious editor of the Anti-Religious Jewish Journal is out.

What took so long?

A hard-bitten left-wing extremist who believed liberal politics should trump – excuse the rich term – Judaism, if the editor had any use for Yiddishkeit, he kept it well hidden.

Religious families have banned the newspaper from their homes.

The husband of a rabbi, he was a weekly embarrassment to religious Jews who, admittedly, form a small corner of America’s second-largest Jewish community.

The defrocked Journal originally was intended to be the flagship bulletin of the community.

But the effete editor turned the Journal into a reed-thin weekly document where a choir of predictable anger-fueled left-wing screamers raged exactly on cue. Like the old Howdy Doody Show.

An unembarrassable hater of President Trump and an adorer of Barack Obama, he was a weasling loyal leftist to the end.

In a recent typically red-faced tearburst, he howled about how Mr. Obama was severely mistreated by the media while Mr. Trump is regarded as a gilded soldier of elite voters and the media. Clearly, the editor does not read, either.

Subtracting this whacky blister instantly – if only temporarily – restores a modicum of prestige to the Anti-Jewish Journal. A acerbic odor is starting to recede.
