While the long-overdue takedown of baldly crooked Debbie Wasserman Schultz finally appears to be underway, the con game of sanctuary cities is in full Gen. Custer bluster.
Sanctuary cities is a bait-and-switch game for illegal aliens – to the harm of America
In yesterday’s Los Angeles Times, Sacramento-based essayist Georgie Skelton, arch-liberal, approvingly was quoting Gov. Brown’s latest popoff.
Spurning thinking for his trademark impulsiveness while ignoring our sagging state’s economy, thought-free Mr. Brown heartily endorsed legislation that would, seriously, make California a sanctuary state.
Isn’t this like swallowing a pill to make you sicker?
All criminals not only are passively welcomed but aggressively invited.
Is legalizing bank robbery for illegals the next gift from the Democrat-loaded legislature?
Or should it read the loaded Democrat legislature?
Why not fling open the state’s main vault?
Set aside one afternoon every week for a year and invite each of California’s multi-million Democrat-registered illegal aliens to stop by and dip their sticky palms inside for a handful of greenbacks.
It won’t stem the tide of crime by illegal aliens any more than LBJ’s selective “war” on selective poverty.
But, hey, pal, it would allow illegals to live more comfortably between homicides and other unlawful adventures.
Mr. Skelton, an automatic leftist, said, with a straight expression, that it was fine for the governor and legislative Dems to wink with both eyes at the law that says you need to register to enter our increasingly soiled country.
No need to evict criminal aliens as long as they are registered Democrats, Mr. Skelton and the governor believe.
If, instead, the criminal aliens were registered Republican, they would be shooed back over the border.
Dems would chase them out with a wind-stirring ferocity that would permanently foul our weather and hopelessly confuse already cerebrally dismembered “climate change” scientists.
