Liberals are eminently qualified to play dumb – since they are.
Alan Gomez and E. Garcetti are two of my favorite dumb liberals. Their trick-filled chutzpah is galig.
A reporter for USA Today for 11 years, Mr. Gomez has set aside the largest section of his heart to feel tearfully sorry for all illegal aliens, whether terrorists or normal people. He believes anyone who wants to enter America should be able to crawl in the back door or break in the front door.
This is why generally silly, and influential, USA Today assigned Mr. Gomez to the illegal alien beat. Under the guise of news, he writes pro-illegal alien op-ed pieces
When a left-wing newspaper wants to make fun of a subject, it commits typical liberal mockery by placing quotation marks around the term.
That is what silly USA Today does with sanctuary cities even though there are 300 of them across America.
Under the childishly unbelievable headline “‘Sanctuary city’ poses puzzle: Just what is it?” the newspaper engineered a sneak attack on its lightly informed readers.
Pompous Mr. Gomez played stupid in yesterday’s edition, a cinch after decades of diligent practice.
One of the deceitful liberals who has been shamelessly promoting sanctuary cities as a lawless haven for illegals, Mr. Gomez complained of a brain cramp yesterday on page 2.
“What exactly is a sanctuary city?” wrote Mr. Gomez after evidently having been struck dumb.
“It’s a multimillion dollar question,” he wrote.
While Mr. Gomez was shrugging one shoulder, then another, E. (I Am a 10-Watt Bulb) Garcetti, who mayors Los Angeles in his off-hours, was imitating a dunce on the Crooked News Network with Jake Tapper.
- has been a leading seller of the sanctuary city notion for Los Angeles.
When Mr. Flapper Tapper asked E. what a sanctuary city is, E. shrugged one shoulder, then another.
Why does that look familiar?
