Warming or Cooling, Climate Is Changing. So?

The same Los Angeles Times that brilliantly argued on Sunday “we can’t back Judge Gorsuch for the Supreme Court though we cannot think up a reason,” rebounded yesterday with equally rare sagacity, about global climate warming change.

When President Trump announced this week that he had signed executive orders reversing Barack Obama’s strangling, job-killing energy industry regulations, environmentalists and their liberal parents, on cue, suffered group heart attack. It cannot be  much fun to be a liberal since all questions and answers are meticulously rehearsed.

The Times branded Mr. Trump as “ignorant,” and now they are left to figure out whether they are the pot or the kettle. Or the insuperable fool.

Practicing its traditional restraint, the comically petty New York Times editorialized:

“Only 10 weeks into his presidency, and at great risk to future generations, Donald Trump has ordered the demolition of most of President Barack Obama’s policies to combat climate change by reducing emissions from fossil fuels.”

Global warming is the honorable successor to global cooling, the rage in the 1970s.

Will some random liberal please make up my mind?

Hereafter, Times’ editorials will appear on their nonexistent comics page.

To use his married name, when humorously credentialed Al Gore is your standard bearer, your movement is automatically suspect as a scam.

One of the great hoaxes in world history was the late 20th century declaration that global warming was going to end life on planet earth before the century expired.

When they were wrong, they burbled, perspired, flipped the page, shuffled the deck and asserted they had, uh, been misunderstood.

Sure, the world will end in 1994 is easy to misunderstand.

These intellectually shaky, doomsaying, unsophsticated boys are analogous to the old street-corner preachers bellowing to passersby that The End Is Near Unless You Convert to My Religion Before Dinner.

Liberals need to feel they are in control of your life and mine.

This unshakeable conviction leads to amorphous philosophies such as global climate warming change.

Remember how these medicine men were forced to, uh, switch from global warming to climate change when, uh, they could not prove that, uh, the earth was not warming — except in coal-fired ovens.
