West Los Angeles College will be one of several sites where County voters can cast their ballots early, ahead of next Tuesday’s election.
On Saturday and Sunday, polls will be open from 8 to 4 in the Fine Arts Building, Room 103.
West is at 9000 Overland Ave., near the intersection of Jefferson Boulevard.
Free parking is available in the adjacent parking structure. Visitors should enter on Overland, turn right on Albert Vera and go up the hill to the parking structure.
The Fine Arts building is a few steps north of the parking structure. Disabled parking is available.
Other weekend voting locations are in East Los Angeles, Lancaster, North Hills, Pasadena, Torrance and West Covina. www.LAVote.net
The ballot includes juicy topics:
- The office of mayor of Los Angeles, with Eric Garcetti, the incumbent, heavily favored,
- Three seats on the Community College District Board of Trustees.
- LAUSD School Board.
- Measure H, improving services for the homeless.
- Measures M & N, regarding marijuana licensing.
- Measure S, a building moratorium in South Central.
