Johnny Weissmuller and Tarzan Ride Again

This week I am in copy heaven with three wonderful video-editing programs, and my favorite 3-D and 2-D movies.

(1) Thanks to my 3-D virtual reality (VR) headset, Blu-ray 3-D DVDs, and a new wonderful video-editing program, I can now view my favorite 3-D movies on my iPhone embedded in my $15 VR headset.

The video-editing program is PavtubeBDMagic for Mac.  This $40 program allows me to convert my Blu-ray 3-D DVDs to MP4 side-by-side format for playing on my iPhone, and viewing in 3-D on my VR headset.

(2) As I get older, I find myself recalling the fun memories of Saturdays at the movies.  There were four or five cartoons, followed by a cowboy movie or a science-fiction movie. My favorite cartoon was Mighty Mouse.  Just imagining the tune from that show still gives me happy chills: Here I come to save the day!

Yesterday I went to YouTube and downloaded all 80 Terry Toons Mighty Mouse cartoons, which were created between 1942 and 1961. This week I also downloaded 17 Sidney Toler, Charlie Chan movies, and 29 Mysteries of the Bible films.

The video-editing program is Wondershare Video Editor Ultimate.  With this $40 program, a Download sign pops up on the corner of each YouTube video I want to download.  One click on the sign starts the download.  Then, I can locate the next video and click on its download sign.

(3) In the movie theatre, I loved the Johnny Weissmuller Tarzan movies.  At home, I loved watching The Range Busters westerns.  These movies are not available on YouTube but, luckily, years ago I recorded these movies from the TV to videocassettes, and then to DVDs with a video recorder.  This week I began converting my homemade DVDs to MP4 format.

The video-editing program is Handbrake.  This free program only converts non-protected DVDs such as my homemade DVDs.

Today Amazon Prime will deliver a 32GB flash drive for my iPhone.  I will probably put many of my favorite cartoons and movies (2-D and 3-D) on the flash drive so I can watch them at any time.  So much to watch.  I wish for a long life.  For you, too.
