Safety First: A Salute to Police, Fire for Endorsing Weissman

Letters to the EditorLetters

In the race for the City Council, I am thrilled that both the Culver City Firefighters Assn. and the Culver City Police Officers Assn. have endorsed Andy Weissman.

Andy’s ability to earn these endorsements shows his commitment to public safety.

In a state that is prone to natural disasters, it is important to have a City Council member who acknowledges we must be prepared and who works to keep the community safe.

Who knows better than our local firefighters and police officers the candidate who is best prepared to protect our community?

Andy Weissman is focused on making sure the men and women who protect our city every day have the resources they need to maintain and improve the level of service we have come to expect.

I worked closely with Andy on the Charter Review Committee, and I know he will be a strong leader, a Councilman we can count on to put public safety at the top of the list.
